Job summary

Community Autism Services (CAS) is seeking a Home & Community Behavior Technician in Ventura, CA to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in homes, schools, and community settings under BCBA supervision, focusing on skill development and behavior reduction. The role offers weekday hours, paid onboarding and ongoing supervision, and clear growth paths into senior BT roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region.
• Valid driver's license and punctual attendance.
• Comfort working across multiple settings (home, school, community).
• No prior ABA experience required - we train you.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision.
• Implement treatment plans in home, school, and community settings.
• Use play-based and individualized strategies to engage children.
• Collect accurate session data and progress notes.
• Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and clinical supervisors.
• Support skill generalization across environments.
• Maintain safe, professional, and organized therapy sessions.
