Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a team member at our Logansport facility to provide interpreting and translation services along with administrative support.

The role supports operations while upholding Tyson policies and maintaining a safe work environment. The successful candidate will work with colleagues to meet business objectives, follow HACCP and GMP guidelines, and assist with daily tasks in a fast-paced food production setting.

This position provides interpreting and translation services and administrative support while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Working Conditions and Physical Expectations

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others to meet business objectives.
• Demonstrated dependability in meeting work schedules and job responsibilities.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow HACCP, GMP, food safety, and other applicable company policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, which may include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to safely work around moving equipment and machinery while following established safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a food production environment, including exposure to cold temperatures, moisture, noise, and food production odors.
• Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include hard hats, hearing protection, gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift, move, or otherwise handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in a food production environment that may include exposure to hot and cold temperatures, wet conditions, and a fast-paced work setting.

Attendance Requirement

• With the new UKG attendance policy update, employees must have three (3) points or fewerand maintain three (3) points or fewerto remain in their position.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
