Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP I) in Glendora, CA. This part-time role supports individuals in daily living, personal care, and community participation, helping them live as independently and joyfully as possible.

Responsibilities include following IPP routines, assisting with personal hygiene, meals, and safe transportation. Must have DSP Year 1 Certifications, First Aid/ CPR, CPI, a valid CA driver’s license, and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• DSP Year 1 Certifications (per Title 17)
• First Aid / CPR
• CPI certification (we can provide)
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement daily routines per the Individual Program Plan (IPP)
• Assist with bathroom needs and personal hygiene
• Change undergarments or clothing when necessary
• Prepare meals and assist with cleanup
• Provide safe transportation in company vehicles as needed
• Support health, safety, and well-being at all times
• Advocate for individuals and promote their independence and quality of life.

Education

• Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr

• Status: Part -Time positions available

• Shifts Available:

  • Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 6am - 10am & 2pm - 6pm

What You’ll Do (DSP I Duties)
