Dallas County, Texas is seeking an IT support professional to provide technical assistance for the TechShare Prosecutor software used by attorneys, investigators, and staff. Provides technical assistance and support for TechShare Prosecutor software to attorneys, investigators, and support staff. Monitors compliance using Electronic Disposition Reporting (EDR) software with Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) submissions and troubleshoots charges to ensure the County meets yearly CJIS compliance goals. Trains and supports law enforcement officers in the submittal of cases, digital evidence, and electronic disposition reporting.
Education, Experience and Training:
Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or another job-related field.
Skilled in the use of standard software applications. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments, and the general public. Knowledgeable of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of applicable systems. Knowledge of mainframes, PCs, networks, specialized software, internet, and office automation tools. Experience as a current or past user of criminal justice information systems preferred. Must pass a background investigation. May occasionally be required to work weekends, nights, or be on-call.
