A leading engineering company in Turkey is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist responsible for planning and scheduling across projects. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and advanced skills in tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project. Strong communication skills and the ability to reside in Zonguldak/Ereğli are essential. This role offers an opportunity to manage and report on project schedules, ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsible for overall planning and scheduling for all assigned projects. Maintains relationships with project personnel, particularly with individual discipline group leaders and engineers. May have continuing contacts with Project Managers, project team members, and working and supervisory level personnel from other departments.
Obtains required schedule information from all disciplines/functions. Coordinates with all departments to ensure understanding of total project schedule needs. Responsible for total integration of schedule activities. Identifies schedule considerations and problems resulting from inter-discipline or functional restraints and interfaces.
Obtains required schedule information from multinational contractors and design firms. Monitors and reports critical path and schedule performance of the total project. Conducts project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine the criticality of schedule activities. Recommends alternatives for schedule improvement to the project team for discussion and/or decision.
Reports to and receives technical and operational guidance from the Planning & Control Supervisor.
Performs cost engineering, cost estimating, and cost analysis/control activities for small to large-scale projects. Monitors cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards.
