POSITION DETAILS
Our company, Tüprag Metal Madencilik is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing mechanical maintenance activities for fixed plant operations at Kışladağ Mine.
This role covers the full mechanical scope of crushing and screening systems, conveyors, feeders, pumps, piping networks, lubrication systems, and other critical mechanical assets to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous plant operation.
The position plays a key part in improving equipment performance, preventing failures, and applying engineering-based practices to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.
- Preparing and controlling shift-based and scheduled maintenance plans for the mechanical maintenance team.
- Leading preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for crushers, screens, belt conveyors, feeders, pumps, and piping systems.
- Conducting root cause analysis for recurring failures and implementing long-term corrective actions.
- Responding promptly to emergency breakdowns and supporting troubleshooting efforts.
- Reviewing equipment performance, downtime reports, and reliability trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Managing spare parts planning, stock levels, and component life tracking.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards, including LOTO and permit-to-work procedures.
- Providing technical guidance and training to team members, supporting their skill development for current and future operational needs.
- Coordinating service support with external providers when necessary.
- Leading projects focused on improving productivity, equipment reliability, and operational safety.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on mechanical maintenance experience in mining or heavy industrial facilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of crushing and screening systems, belt conveyors, feeders, pumps, industrial piping, and related fixed plant mechanical components.
- Experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance execution.
- Skilled in root cause analysis tools such as 5‑Why and Fishbone; familiarity with reliability‑focused maintenance approaches is an advantage.
- Understanding of maintenance KPIs (Availability, MTBF, MTTR) and their use in performance tracking.
- Good command of MS Office applications; basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Preferably experienced in SAP PM / PTM for managing work orders and maintenance documentation.
- Good English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, leadership, and team coordination abilities.
- High awareness of occupational safety and adherence to maintenance standards and procedures.
