Job summary

Nordex Group Türkiye in Istanbul seeks a Project Civil Engineer to support civil infrastructure for wind farm projects. You will work with the Engineering Department to review soil reports, foundation designs, and road studies, ensuring compliance with Nordex standards and contractual scopes.

Regular site visits and collaboration with clients and contractors are essential. The role demands advanced English, strong seismic and fatigue design knowledge, and extensive experience with wind turbine

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering required.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal) required.
• Extensive experience with wind turbine foundation design and large-scale industrial foundations preferred.
• Solid understanding of ULS/SLS, fatigue, overturning, uplift, crack control concepts.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and structural analysis software (SAP2000 or equivalent).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales and project execution teams on civil infrastructure for wind farms.
• Review soil investigation reports and clarify issues with contractors.
• Evaluate foundation designs and road studies against specifications and provide comments.
• Ensure final designs comply with Nordex standards and contractual scope.
• Visit sites to inspect anchor cage installation and report non-conformities.
• Comment on modifications to design tools and local regulations in coordination with global team.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation measures; report to PM and HQ.
