Job summary

Pegasus Airlines seeks a talented Web Developer (Full Stack) to build and enhance web applications that power our digital airline experience. You will work closely with Product, UX, QA, Backend, and Mobile teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

Bring 2–4 years of hands-on web development, React/Redux/MUI proficiency, and strong API integration. A collaborative mindset and agile approach will help drive success in a fast-paced travel tech environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Team Player with customer-first mindset and strong communication.
• 2–4 years of professional web development experience with frontend and backend/API integration.
• Experience with REST APIs and Java/Spring; API design, validation, testing, and service integration.
• Familiarity with BFF architecture, caching, authentication, and API security is a plus.
• Good understanding of SOLID, OOP, design patterns, clean code, refactoring.
• Experience with React ecosystem (Redux, MUI) and testing (unit/integration/UI/E2E).
• Proficient in Git; familiar with CI/CD workflows and GitHub Actions.
• Awareness of web performance, observability, deployment, and security.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).
• Agile-minded, proactive, cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

• Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Team Player: Eager to learn, with a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a sense of ownership..
• Experience: 2–4 years of professional web development experience, with hands‑on experience in frontend development and backend/API integration. Comfortable working in mature, long‑lived codebases.
• Backend & Middleware: Experience working with REST APIs and familiarity with Java/Spring. Understanding of API design, validation, error handling, testing, and service integration. Familiarity with BFF architecture, backward compatibility, caching, authentication, and API security is a plus.
• Software Engineering & Architecture: Good understanding of SOLID principles, OOP, design patterns, clean code, and refactoring. Familiarity with modularization, dependency injection, and technical debt management.
• Frontend Ecosystem & Quality: Experience with the React ecosystem, including Redux, MUI, and design systems. Familiarity with unit, integration, and UI/E2E testing, as well as test automation.
• CI/CD & Engineering Practices: Proficient in Git and familiar with CI/CD workflows and Continuous Delivery. Experience with GitHub Actions, automated checks, and engineering quality gates is a plus.
• Performance, Reliability & Security: Basic understanding of web performance optimization, scalability, observability, production troubleshooting, and web/API security, with a willingness to learn and apply best practices.
• AI-Assisted Development: Hands‑on experience using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI‑powered tools for coding, testing, refactoring, and technical analysis, with the ability to review and validate AI‑generated output.
• Agile Mindset: Agile-minded, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with Product, UX, QA, Backend, Mobile, and other engineering teams.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Node.js, Bun, microservices, distributed systems, cloud technologies, MCP, AI agents, or agentic software development. Experience with large‑scale or high‑traffic applications, particularly in travel, airline, e‑commerce, or other transaction‑intensive domains, is a plus.
