Job summary

SECODI Finland in Çekmeköy, Istanbul, Turkey, seeks a Warranty Specialist to manage Perkins and OEM warranty claims from initiation to resolution. You will collect technical and financial documents, assess eligibility, and collaborate with Service Engineering to obtain necessary analyses and documentation.

The role requires strong communication, coordination with service partners, and the ability to monitor claim status and ensure timely submissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and submit warranty claims and follow up with Perkins, OEMs, and service dealers.
• Collect and consolidate technical and financial documentation for proper cost recovery from manufacturers.
• Act as main contact for Perkins warranty management and OEM processes.
• Review technical failures per manufacturer policies to determine eligibility for warranty coverage.
• Coordinate with Service Engineering to obtain analysis and supporting documentation for warranty claims.
• Ensure warranty claims are complete and submitted on time with required timelines.
• Provide support to Technical Support on warranty-related matters when needed.
• Monitor status of submitted claims and follow up with manufacturers on feedback and resolution.
• Identify recurring warranty issues and contribute to root-cause analysis for process improvement.
• Develop and leverage team capabilities to provide effective warranty support to Perkins, OEMs, and service partners.
• Maintain accurate warranty records and reporting to monitor cost recovery and performance.

Job description

• Manage and submit warranty claims and ensure timely and effective follow-up with Perkins, OEMs, and authorized service dealers.
• Collect, review, and consolidate all necessary technical and financial documentation to ensure the proper recovery of warranty-related costs from manufacturers.
• Act as the main point of contact for Perkins warranty management and OEM warranty processes, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Review and assess technical failures in accordance with manufacturer warranty policies, rules, and guidelines, and determine whether the failure is eligible for warranty coverage.
• Work closely with the Service Engineering team to obtain the required technical analysis, failure information, and supporting documentation for warranty claims.
• Coordinate with Service Engineers to ensure that warranty claims are complete, accurate, and submitted within the required timelines.
• Provide support to the Technical Support team when required, particularly on warranty-related technical matters.
• Monitor the status of submitted claims, follow up on manufacturer feedback, and ensure timely resolution of rejected, pending, or disputed claims.
• Identify recurring warranty issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and continuous improvement of warranty processes.
• Develop and leverage the capabilities of the team to provide effective warranty support to Perkins, OEMs, and service partners.
• Maintain accurate warranty records and reporting, and contribute to the monitoring and improvement of warranty cost recovery and performance.
