Job summary

Farmina, a leading international Italian pet nutrition company, is seeking a Veterinary Sales Representative to cover the Istanbul Bosphorus Line (Asian & European sides) and grow the veterinary channel in Turkey.

In this field-based role, you will build long-term relationships with clinics, present Farmina's Vet Life and N&D portfolios, provide scientific support, and identify new partners while planning and reporting on your territory.

Qualifications

• University degree in Veterinary Medicine preferred; other related degrees considered.
• Experience in veterinary practice or animal health is advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for client interactions.
• Commercial mindset with a results-driven approach.
• Ability to learn technical product knowledge and apply it in selling.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Istanbul Bosphorus Line.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with veterinary clinics and professionals across the European side of Istanbul.
• Identify and develop new veterinary partners within the assigned territory.
• Present Farmina's veterinary portfolio including Farmina Vet Life and N&D and services.
• Provide technical and scientific support to veterinary professionals in the area of clinical nutrition.
• Understand the needs of veterinary clinics and recommend nutritional solutions.
• Implement Farmina's global veterinary strategy within the Turkish market.
• Monitor developments and trends in veterinary medicine and the local market.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to organize seminars and events.
• Support localisation of marketing materials and technical presentations.
• Plan and manage the assigned territory independently, reporting activities and results.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Veterinary Sales Representative to join our team covering the Istanbul Bosphorus Line (Asian & European sides) and support the continued development of Farmina's veterinary channel across Turkey.

In this field-based role, you will act as a trusted partner to veterinary clinics, combining veterinary knowledge, consultative selling and relationship management. You will be responsible for strengthening Farmina's presence in the region, supporting existing partners and identifying new business opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with veterinary clinics and veterinary professionals across the European side of Istanbul.
• Identify and develop new veterinary partners within the assigned territory.
• Present Farmina's veterinary portfolio, including Farmina Vet Life and N&D, as well as professional services such as educational programmes, clinical studies and veterinary digital tools.
• Provide technical and scientific support to veterinary professionals in the area of clinical nutrition for dogs and cats.
• Understand the needs of veterinary clinics and recommend appropriate nutritional solutions.
• Implement Farmina's global veterinary strategy within the Turkish market.
• Monitor developments and trends in veterinary medicine, clinical nutrition and the local veterinary market.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams in organising seminars, congresses and other professional events.
• Support the localisation of marketing materials and the preparation of technical presentations.
• Plan and manage the assigned territory independently, regularly reporting activities, opportunities and results.

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Veterinary Medicine is preferred; candidates with a degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field are also welcome.
• Previous experience in veterinary practice, animal health, clinical nutrition or the veterinary channel is considered a strong advantage; a proven track record in FMCG or field sales will also be valued.
• Genuine interest in animal health, pet nutrition and scientific veterinary solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial mindset and a results-oriented approach.
• Ability to learn and apply technical product knowledge in a consultative selling approach.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to independently plan activities and manage a territory.
• Analytical thinking and a professional approach.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Istanbul Bosphorus Line, on both the Asian and European sides.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Valid category B driving licence and active driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
