Job summary

Farmina is seeking a proactive Import & Logistics Specialist to manage end-to-end import operations and stock control across the Turkish supply chain. The role requires coordinating with international suppliers, freight forwarders and warehouses to ensure timely product availability.

You will report to the Operations Manager, work closely with Sales, Finance and Customer Service, and travel or liaise with Farmina HQ as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• 2–3+ years in import/logistics or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of import processes, customs procedures and international trade.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Istanbul-based, able to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import operations from international suppliers (Serbia and Italy).
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, warehouses and transport providers.
• Prepare and maintain import documentation per customs/regulatory requirements.
• Monitor shipment schedules and manage delays or risks.
• Oversee stock and inventory control, cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Support inventory planning aligned with sales forecasts.
• Maintain purchase, shipment and inventory records in ERP.
• Track logistics performance and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Operations, plus Farmina HQ.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies.
• Prepare regular logistics performance and stock KPI reports.
