Job summary

Vizio AI is seeking a Business Development Representative (SDR/BDR) with hands-on Upwork sales experience to grow our international client base. You will identify relevant Upwork postings, craft personalized proposals, and initiate first contact through the platform.

You’ll run multi-channel outbound prospecting across LinkedIn, email, and Upwork messaging, reach C-level executives, qualify needs, book meetings, and drive SQLs through the pipeline with the Sales team.

Qualifications

• Proven Upwork experience — actively sourcing leads and/or closing deals on Upwork platform.
• Experience in SDR/BDR, outbound sales, or B2B appointment setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English for international clients.
• Confidence communicating with C-level and senior decision-makers.
• Experience with CRM and prospecting tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Responsibilities

• Identify Upwork postings and RFPs that match service lines (AI, automation, software development, digital transformation).
• Write personalized, high-conversion proposals and initiate first contact on Upwork.
• Run multi-channel outbound prospecting across LinkedIn, email, and Upwork messaging.
• Reach out to C-level executives, Directors, and Heads of Department at target companies.
• Personalize outreach based on company and pain points; book qualified meetings.
• Conduct initial qualification — needs, urgency, authority, and fit.
• Generate SQLs matching ICP and qualification criteria.
• Track Upwork-sourced opportunities and full proposal-to-close cycle in the CRM.
• Collaborate with Sales team to move high-potential opportunities into the pipeline.
