Job summary

Goodyear Türkiye seeks a Country Financial Controller to lead the Türkiye Controllership, covering accounting, tax and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local requirements.

You will oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closes, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting accuracy while partnering with auditors, tax advisors, and regional finance teams to uphold governance and internal controls. The role is hybrid in Istanbul.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/CA or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in finance and accounting within a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Türkiye Controllership and develop a high‑performing team.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting per US GAAP and local rules.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and regional finance teams for governance and compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls and support SOX compliance and audit readiness.
• Coach and develop team members and drive process improvements.
• Partner with business stakeholders to drive efficiencies and sustainable growth.
