Job summary

Manpower Türkiye is seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager to lead finance and accounting activities with hands-on involvement in daily operations. The role will coordinate with local departments and global finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with Turkish regulations and IFRS.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in closing, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and will strengthen internal controls while guiding the team in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting with leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting and tax requirements, IFRS, and group reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Willing to stay hands-on in daily operations within a lean, growing organization.
• Experience in multinational environment; retail/wholesale/e-commerce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate records and timely completion of key activities.
• Take an active role in monthly and annual closing, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and group reporting packages in line with local requirements and global accounting standards.
• Work directly with the accounting team to investigate discrepancies, resolve operational issues and improve accounting accuracy.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, analyse variances and provide clear insights to support business decisions.
• Oversee cash flow planning, payments and receivables, ensuring timely follow-up and effective working capital management.
• Monitor inventory valuation, landed costs and cost of goods sold in cooperation with relevant departments.
• Coordinate tax compliance and audit activities with internal teams and external advisers.
• Act as the main contact for global finance teams on reporting, financial performance and accounting matters.
• Strengthen internal controls, maintain appropriate approval processes and improve ERP workflows and data quality.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, setting clear priorities and providing direct operational support when needed.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve issues, improve processes and support business growth.
