Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Country Financial Controller for Türkiye with a leadership role over the Türkiye Controllership function. The position requires managing an international team across accounting, tax and statutory reporting while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local regulations.

The role is hybrid in Istanbul and involves close collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and regional finance teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; a professional accounting qualification preferred.
Experience in finance and accounting including financial reporting, statutory accounting, compliance, and governance in a multinational environment.
Led and developed teams with coaching, collaboration, and inclusive culture.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, SOX, and external audit processes.

Responsibilities

Lead Türkiye Controllership function, managing an international team across Accounting, Tax and statutory reporting.
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with US GAAP and local regulations.
Oversee financial analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting for transparency and sound decisions.
Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and regional finance teams to maintain governance and compliance.
Promote robust internal controls and continuous process improvement for SOX compliance and audit readiness.
Coach and mentor team members for growth, succession planning, and career progression.
Work with cross-functional partners to identify efficiencies and strengthen financial processes.
