Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH is seeking a Finance/Controlling professional in Turkey to coordinate monthly close, manage trial balances, and prepare IFRS statements. You will support group reporting via consolidation tools and collaborate with Project Teams on PoC costs and margin analyses.

The role requires 5–6 years in audit or financial controlling, strong Turkish GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and proficiency in SAP, SAP Analytics, SAC, BW, and advanced Excel. English communication must be excellent.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 5–6 years of experience in Audit or Financial Controlling, preferably within an international company.
• Big 4 experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP and IFRS.
• CPA / SMMM qualification is a plus.
• Good knowledge of SAP, SAP Analytics, SAC, and BW.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly hard close process and prepare monthly IFRS financial statements.
• Manage trial balance and adjustment schedules, account reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Prepare and submit Group reporting through consolidation tools and platforms in line with deadlines.
• Prepare PoC statements and support cost controlling activities in collaboration with Project Teams.
• Prepare margin analysis, cost center analysis, and profit center split reports in close collaboration with Sales and Project Teams.
• Manage IFRS 16 data preparation and submission through Tagetik.
• Prepare monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgets, and submit them through SAC.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as required.
