Job summary

SIHAMCO is seeking an exceptional Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering a Turkish fine-dining concept in Saudi Arabia. The role demands strong Turkish cuisine knowledge, leadership, and hands-on execution across all kitchen sections.

You will participate in pre-opening activities, SOP development, equipment testing, and training of opening kitchen brigades, ensuring service readiness and premium guest experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional culinary experience with at least 2 years in a Sous Chef or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of Turkish cuisine and regional influences (Aegean, Mediterranean, Anatolian, Ottoman).
• Experience in fine dining, luxury hotels or premium restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in the culinary direction and execution of the Turkish fine-dining concept.
• Ensure dishes are prepared and presented per recipes, specs and plating standards.
• Maintain authenticity, quality and consistency of Turkish flavours and techniques.
• Supervise daily food preparation, mise en place and service across kitchen sections.
• Assist with menu development, recipe testing, tastings and trials.
• Ensure ingredients meet required quality, yield and spec.
• Maintain high standards of flavour, texture, and presentation.
