Job summary

MARTUR FOMPAK International is seeking a Commodity Buyer to source across defined product groups within a global footprint. You will ensure objectives, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company standards and best practices.

Ideal candidates have a textile engineering background, at least 5 years in automotive/manufacturing purchasing or project management, and strong analytical and negotiation skills with excellent English.

Job Description:

• Commodity Buyer will be responsible for sourcing activities within a defined commodity strategy for all aspects of the allocated product groups by ensuring the achievement of the company’s and project objectives and customer satisfaction in accordance with company standards, methodologies, guidelines & best practices.
• She/he has a role within the commodity strategy of the company in global footprint. The commodity buyer will be responsible for commercial activities, purchasing budget and reporting; managing the schedule, and ensuring sustainability all within an international environment.
• The Commodity Buyer will be working with different internal and external business partners in cooperation and collaboration.
