Job summary

Neva Building Solutions is seeking an experienced engineer to translate project specs into verified bills of materials, prepare technical offers, and manage RFQ cycles across MEA and CIS markets from Istanbul with regional travel.

You will read single-line diagrams, coordinate sourcing and shipments, and represent Neva at regional events while supporting customers from quote to delivery. Fluent English and Turkish required; on-site role with travel several times a year.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
• 2+ years in project sales, tendering or applications engineering.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams confidently.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.

Job description

Project business is won at the specification stage, and that is where you live. EPCs and contractors across the Middle East, Africa and the CIS send single-line diagrams, panel schedules and long mixed-brand bills of material; you translate them into verified part lists, coordinate pricing with the hubs, and stay with the project from first quote to final shipment. Expect real engineering depth and regular customer contact, with travel to project markets several times a year.

What you’ll do:

• Analyse project specifications, single-line diagrams and panel schedules; build and verify complete bills of material.
• Prepare technical-commercial offers for switchgear components, protection relays, automation and building systems.
• Manage the RFQ cycle with EPCs, contractors and panel builders in the MEA and CIS regions, including revisions as the project evolves.
• Coordinate sourcing with Sofia and Tampa, and shipment terms with the logistics team.
• Visit key customers and project sites; represent Neva at regional trade events.

What you bring:

• Degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
• 2+ years in project sales, tendering or applications engineering for electrical distribution or automation products.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams and electrical specifications confidently.
• Fluent English and Turkish; the customer base works in English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to İstanbul; on-site role with regional travel.
