Job summary

SCHOTT Orim Türkiye seeks a Supply Chain Director to lead and develop all supply chain functions for two sites in Bolu and Çerkezköy. You will oversee logistics, procurement, inventory, and production planning while guiding a team of ~75 indirect reports through a structured, strategic agenda.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will drive efficiency, sustainability, and compliance across global operations and collaborate with regional leadership to meet corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in supply chain in a multinational manufacturing setting.
• Experience leading multi-site operations.
• Proficient in SAP and planning tools.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• APICS (CLTD/CSCP/CPIM) and/or CIPS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned with corporate and regional objectives.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory, material planning, and distribution.
• Ensure supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and contract compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, service levels, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with site operations, finance, quality, and regional SCM teams for alignment.
• Lead and develop supply chain teams across both sites with a culture of accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned with corporate and regional objectives.
• Oversee and optimize all supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, material planning, and distribution.
• Ensure robust supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and contract compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service levels, and sustainability.
• Collaborate closely with site operations, finance, quality, and regional SCM teams to ensure alignment and performance transparency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team across both sites, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and international trade regulations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and present results to local and regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience in managing multi-site operations.
• Strong command of SAP and advanced supply chain planning tools.
• Excellent command of English (C1 level) is required.
• Preferably certified with APICS (CLTD, CSCP, or CPIM) and/or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and implementing supply chain transformation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• High level of strategic thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
