Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Senior Regional Sourcing Specialist for the Istanbul region.

The role focuses on identifying Turkish suppliers, initiating collaboration via NDA/CoC, issuing RFQs, and coordinating with European divisions to manage local suppliers. Qualifications include a bachelor’s in engineering or related field and at least five years in procurement, with SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related fields.
• Min 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Understanding of RFQ processes, cost drivers, and supplier communication.
• Ability to Read and Interpret Basic Technical Drawings.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and platforms such as SupplyON is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify suppliers on the Turkish market according to SCHAEFFLER Group needs.
• Ensure preliminary communication with local suppliers by sending NDA/CoC for collaboration.
• Issue price quotation requests to chosen suppliers.
• Follow up on RFQ requests and address clarifications.
• Collaborate with divisions, business units, and purchasing plants in Europe for local supplier management.
• Visit suppliers together with colleagues from divisions, business units, and subregion.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Identification of suppliers on the Turkish market according to the SCHAEFFLER Group's needs;
