Job summary

Ödeal, a fintech scaleup, seeks a Software Engineering Team Lead to guide architecture, tech choices and delivery. You will design code and data architecture, provide technical leadership, and manage a multi-functional team to build scalable payment solutions.

You will collaborate with product owners, spearhead modernizing platforms, and champion testing (DDD/TDD) and microservices, with Docker/Kubernetes. The role demands 6+ years in software development and at least 3 years in leadership;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 6+ years as software developer; at least 3 years as team leader.
• Experience with C#, Java, Node.js; Python or Go a plus.
• Experience with Git workflows and branching strategies.
• Experience with microservices and replatforming to microservices.
• Strong unit/integration testing, and DDD & TDD practices.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.

Our agile product organization is evolving through exciting transformations including scaling teams, designing new systems, modernizing legacy platforms and leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

We’re looking for an Software Engineering Team Lead that will;

• Design code and data architecture,
• Provide technical leadership to the team,
• Multi-functional team and people management,

• Be responsible for ensuring the success, growth and output of the product team,
• Work closely with the product owner and the other team members.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline,
• More than 6 years of experience as a Software Developer, minimum 3 years of experience as a Team Leader,
• Experience with languages such C#, Java, Nodejs, (nice to have Python or GoLang)
• Experience in managing source in Git and in Git workflows based on branching, merging etc.,
• Experience with microservice architecture and monolith to microservice replatforming,
• Good understanding of Unit-testing and integration-testing, and DDD & TDD practices,
• Experience with microservices architecture, Docker or Kubernetes technologies,
