Job summary

Ödeal, a fintech scaleup, is expanding its POS operations team. The Pos Operations Executive will lead the Operations team, oversee purchasing, inventory, and stock management, and drive process improvements through cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (engineering preferred) with at least five years in Operations or fintech, strong KPI discipline, stakeholder management, and advanced MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in Operations, E-commerce, Fintech, or related fields.
• Proven team leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong ability to define, monitor, and report KPIs and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytics skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Operations team, ensuring high performance and achievement of business objectives.
• Manage purchase orders, inventory, and stock management processes.
• Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Technology teams to develop and enhance operational systems.
• Review and optimize business processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes and implement necessary operational updates.
• Manage relationships with banks, suppliers, business partners, and third-party providers.
• Monitor post-sale service SLAs, oversee contracts, and ensure reconciliation processes are completed.
• Define, track, and report operational KPIs, providing updates to senior management.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Your Role:

Our POS operations organization is evolving through exciting transformations including scaling operational teams, standardizing and optimizing end-to-end POS processes, modernizing legacy operational systems and infrastructure, and leveraging data-driven insights and technology-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency, performance, and service quality.

We're looking for a Pos Operations Executive that will;

• Lead and manage the Operations team, ensuring high performance and achievement of business objectives.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from a relevant field, with Engineering degrees preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Operations Consulting, E-commerce, Logistics, Banking, Fintech, Payment Systems, or related industries.
• Proven experience in team management and people leadership.
• Strong experience in business partner, supplier, and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to define, monitor, and report KPIs and operational performance metrics.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Experience in process improvement, operational excellence, and project management.
• Excellent communication, reporting, presentation, and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
