Job summary

Ödeal, a fintech scaleup in Istanbul, is seeking a Budget & Reporting Specialist to join our Finance team. You will play an active role in monthly financial reporting and management presentations, analyze costs, and ensure cost control and accurate revenue recognition.

You will contribute to planning and budgeting studies, develop KPIs, and support regulatory reporting. This role offers a dynamic environment with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/business administration.
• Minimum 2 year of relevant experience in reporting or a similar role (Big4 background is a plus).
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles in accordance with TMS/TFRS and IFRS.
• Good understanding of the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements.
• Good command of English both in verbal and written.
• Experience on management reporting and financial modelling is a plus.
• Experience in various ERPs and Accounting applications is a plus.
• Excellent command of MS Office Programs.

• Contribution tonew business case / project feasibility and profitability analysis.
• Understanding links between management reports and statutory accounts.
• Support for ad-hoc management requests and reports.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we are looking for a new "Budget & Reporting Specialist" teammate to join our Finance team. Your Role:

• Having active role in preparation of monthly financial reports and management presentations,
• Monthly analysis of costs by activities and variances with budget
• Understanding the costing model and control monthly cost components to strenghten cost control,
• Monthly reconciliation of commissions with banks and expenses with vendors,
• Understanding the revenue model and control revenue recognition processes to ensure that they are in line with the related regulations and principles,
• Contribution to Planning and Budgeting studies for Income Statement and Cash Flow
• Develop strong understanding of all KPIs and drivers relating to financials,
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly regulatory reporting to TCMB and other parties,
• Contribution tonew business case / project feasibility and profitability analysis,
• Understanding links between management reports and statutory accounts,
• Support for ad-hoc management requests and reports,

Your Qualifications:
