Job summary

adesso Turkey is seeking a German-speaking Java Developer to join a dynamic, self-organized team building enterprise-level products for local and global markets. You will collaborate with consultants, product owners, UI/UX designers, QA, and cross-functional developers to deliver high-quality software.

You will contribute by implementing requirements, defining API details, and participating in agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Java software development (Java 11+).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Microservices/SOA architectures.
• Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and Spring modules.
• Experience with OOP and Git in team environments.
• Experience working in Scrum or Agile-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement product requirements, user stories, and epics as maintainable, testable software with the team.

We're looking for a German-speaking Java Developer to join our dynamic, self-organized team and help build enterprise-level products for both local and global markets. You'll work closely with consultants, product owners, UI/UX designers, QA teams, and mobile, backend, and frontend developers to bring great digital products to life.

How you'll contribute:

• Implementing product requirements, user stories, and epics as maintainable, testable, and high-performing software in collaboration with the team.
• Collaborating with project members to define technical specifications and API design details.
• Contributing to our Agile ceremonies and team activities.
• Participating in code reviews and comprehensive testing to ensure software quality.
• Taking ownership of the quality of the project you work on and proactively taking action to resolve issues when you identify defects.
• Continuously migrating solutions to newer technologies and frameworks to stay up to date with industry best practices.
• Researching new technologies and sharing your findings with the team through our Tech Talks.

What makes you the one:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java software development (Java 11+).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience working with various architectural patterns such as Microservices and SOA.
• Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and Spring modules.
• Experience with OOP.
• Knowledge and experience working with GIT.
• Experience working in a Scrum or Agile-based environment.

Experience with the following topics/technologies is a plus:

• Unit testing, mocking frameworks, TDD
