Job summary

Yapı Kredi Technology, a prominent technology company in Gebze, Marmara Bölgesi, Turkey, seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a skilled development team. The role focuses on planning, architectural guidance, and delivering high-value software solutions for the finance sector.

Candidates should have 10+ years in software development with at least 3 years in team management, and strong Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud expertise within an Agile environment.

• Experience leading software development teams and delivering complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and industry best practices.
• Hands-on with Agile project management and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support and mentor team members through knowledge sharing and balanced workload distribution.
• Prioritize, monitor, and manage project outcomes with a focus on detailed planning and sound decision-making.
• Review and adjust project and epic work plans to meet evolving needs and requirements.
• Analyze and enhance existing workflows and processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• Guide engineers in selecting the right technical solutions, coding techniques, and tools.
• Ensure consistent application of Scrum and Agile development practices across the team.
• Oversee key people management tasks, including hiring, onboarding, professional development, and performance coaching.
• Help ensure that teams understand the company's values, mission, goals, and engineering priorities, aligning their work with broader organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with peers to overcome challenges and drive collective success.
• Lead personal development planning for Scrum team members and evaluate their performance regularly.

• Hands-on experience in agile project management, team communication, coordination, and strong analytical thinking skills.
• Highly motivated, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving success.
• Open-minded with a proactive approach to researching and learning new technologies in the field.
• Problem-solving and conflict management skills, capable of addressing complex business challenges.
