Job summary

Yapı Kredi Technology in İzmit, Turkey, seeks a Software Developer with strong Java, Microservices, and Oracle PL/SQL skills to join our capital markets team.

You design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and backend applications, optimize Oracle PL/SQL, and help modernize legacy systems in a fast-paced fintech environment. We offer hybrid work, access to Koç Group offices, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduated from STEM departments (Computer Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of software experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and related design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
• Experience in capital markets or financial technology environments.
• Good command of reading and writing English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based Microservices and enterprise-grade backend applications.
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers and complex SQL queries.
• Contribute to development and modernization of capital markets and brokerage applications.
• Collaborate with business, trading, operations and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical solutions; participate in system integration and production support.

We are looking for a Software Developer with strong expertise in Java, Microservices, Oracle PL/SQL and capital markets technologies to join our technology team.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from STEM departments (Computer Engineering is preferred) of reputable universities,
• Minimum 3 years of software experience,
• Strong professional experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and related design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
• Solid understanding of enterprise software architecture, API design and system integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced capital markets / financial technology environment.
• Previous experience in a brokerage firm, investment company, bank or financial technology company.
• Experience with Oracle Forms development and/or maintenance.
• Experience integrating legacy Oracle applications with modern Java/Microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with trading, order management, risk management or portfolio management systems.
• Experience working with high-volume, low-latency or mission-critical financial applications.
• Good command of reading and writing English.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of derivatives and financial markets, particularly:

• VIOP (Borsa İstanbul Futures and Options Market)
• International equities
• International futures and derivatives markets
• Futures, options and related derivative instruments
• Trading lifecycle, order management and market data concepts
• Basic understanding of brokerage and trading systems

Job Description:
