Job summary

REED Turkey is seeking a Trade Manager to lead category strategies and drive growth in the pharmaceutical/distribution space. You will build strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, and negotiate terms to support sustainable profitability.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations to execute initiatives, monitor KPIs and optimize portfolios. Fluent English and 7–10 years' relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years in Trade Marketing, Category Management, Commercial Management, KAM or related roles.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or distribution sectors preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with supplier management and negotiations.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategy.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional projects.
• Strong financial awareness, including budgets, margins and profitability targets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools.
• Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Results-driven with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category and trade strategies aligned with company objectives and market dynamics.
• Build and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, suppliers and key partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations regarding pricing, rebates, promotions, and terms.
• Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, customer insights and competitive intelligence.
• Manage supplier performance and oversee annual business planning processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations to ensure effective execution.
• Monitor sales performance, profitability, market trends and KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Optimize product portfolios and support new product launches and commercialization strategies.
• Prepare business reviews, forecasts and strategic recommendations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations and ethical standards.
