Job summary

Medsien is a leading healthcare SaaS company seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-paced, autonomous team. You will build new applications from the ground up and shape products that enable providers to deliver high-quality remote care.

This is a permanent-term contractor role with fully remote work options and preference for Istanbul-based candidates for on-site collaboration. We require 6+ years of full-stack experience, strong Python/Django skills, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack enterprise software engineering experience.
• Experience in dynamic, agile environments with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and learning mindset.
• Advanced English communication skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document new software apps and components.
• Understand code in broader technical and business contexts.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews.
• Lead medium to large projects from development to production.
• Research new technologies and prototype ideas.
• Ensure high testability and quality of delivered software.
• Collaborate with Operations to troubleshoot defects.
• Contribute to building Scrum processes and agile culture.
