Job summary

Jobgether in Turkey is seeking a Staff Security Operations Engineer to strengthen security operations across a globally distributed environment. You will design, implement, and evolve security controls, tools, and policies with a strong emphasis on threat intelligence and incident response.

You will lead or contribute to tabletop exercises, measure KPIs, and share security expertise across teams while delivering impactful security improvements in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in CS/STEM or equivalent professional background.
• Strong passion for cybersecurity and securing critical infrastructure.
• Experience with threat modelling and risk frameworks (NIST CSF).

Responsibilities

• Implement and evolve security operations standards, procedures and playbooks.
• Analyze and improve security architecture across infrastructure and development.
• Evaluate, deploy and improve security tools and practices.
• Identify, investigate, contain, and remediate security threats and incidents.
• Apply threat modelling and risk management to prioritize controls.
• Lead tabletop exercises and security ops activities across teams.
• Develop learning materials to strengthen security capabilities.
• Monitor security KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to open-source threat intelligence and community sharing.
• Present security findings and influence decisions with leadership.
• Plan and deliver security initiatives within Agile engineering.
