Job summary

Watsons Turkey, part of AS Watson Group, is seeking a senior Cybersecurity and Information Security Lead to optimize and govern security across the organization. The role will coordinate global teams and drive incident response, vulnerability management, and risk reduction initiatives.

You will manage a team, ensure KVKK and ISO 27001 compliance, and partner with technology and security vendors to safeguard assets and data in Turkey; strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
• 6-7 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security and/or Security Operations.
• Experience in team management with technical action capability.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, security operations and risk management.
• Experience in vulnerability and patch management; incident management processes.
• Good English communication for coordinating with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company’s cybersecurity and information security operations.
• Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of information security policies and procedures.
• Manage vulnerability assessment and remediation activities (Qualys or similar).
• Plan and monitor patch management across the organization.
• Lead technical response, investigation and root cause analysis for incidents.
• Oversee endpoint security, logging and security monitoring processes.
• Govern firewall rules, privileged access management and core security controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to reduce risk exposure.
• Ensure KVKK, ISO 27001 compliance; coordinate audits and assessments.
• Work with global security teams and external vendors on initiatives.
