Job summary

Randstad Türkiye is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Maintenance Engineer for our Ankara manufacturing site, a global leader in healthcare products. You will participate in design, evaluation, and field execution of the mechanical infrastructure for a new factory.

You will review drawings, coordinate with EPCs and suppliers, lead FAT/SAT and commissioning, plan preventive and predictive maintenance, and contribute to energy efficiency projects, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or large-scale CAPEX projects.
• Experience in setting up a factory from scratch or greenfield investments.
• Strong reading of mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and specs.
• Experience in FAT/SAT and commissioning processes.
• Good command of technical English and MS Office.
• Willingness for field work and active role during intensive commissioning periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, technical evaluation, and field execution of the new factory's mechanical infrastructure.
• Review mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and technical documents.
• Monitor HVAC, cleanroom HVAC, AHU, chiller, boiler, steam, condensate, compressed air, and water/water treatment systems.
• Evaluate mechanical requirements of process equipment and ensure coordination with facility infrastructure.
• Coordinate technically with EPCs, contractors, and suppliers.
• Contribute to technical specifications, quotations, and supplier evaluations for mechanical equipment and systems.
• Participate in FAT/SAT and commissioning activities for critical equipment.
• Ensure field installations comply with designs and specs; manage test protocols and punch lists.
• Complete as-built documentation and technical documentation; plan preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
• Drive energy efficiency and optimization projects; manage external service providers and maintenance vendors.

• Taking part in the design, technical evaluation, and field execution processes of the new factory's mechanical infrastructure,
• Reviewing mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and technical documents,
• Monitoring the applications of HVAC, cleanroom HVAC, AHU, chiller, heating-cooling, boiler, steam, condensate, compressed air, water/water treatment, and process utility facilities,
• Evaluating mechanical requirements of process equipment and ensuring coordination with facility infrastructure,
• Managing technical coordination with EPC/contractors, process equipment suppliers, and other disciplines,
• Contributing to technical specification, quotation, and supplier evaluation processes for mechanical equipment and systems,
• Participating in FAT processes for critical equipment,
• Monitoring the compliance of field installations with project designs and technical specifications,
• Following up on field applications of HVAC, piping, boiler, steam, water/water treatment, and process equipment,
• Taking an active role in FAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, SAT, and functional test processes,
• Following up on test protocols, acceptance documents, and punch list processes,
• Ensuring the completion of as-built projects and technical documentation,
• Managing the reliable operation and maintenance activities of mechanical systems after the facility is commissioned,
• Planning Preventive, Corrective, and Predictive Maintenance activities,
• Conducting root cause failure analyses and improvement studies,
• Determining maintenance strategies and spare parts requirements for critical equipment,
• Contributing to energy efficiency and optimization projects,
• Managing and following up on the work of external service and maintenance providers,
• Creating and keeping up to date maintenance procedures, instructions, and technical documentation.

qualifications

• Graduated from Mechanical Engineering departments of universities,
• Preferably 8+ years of experience,
• Experienced in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or large-scale investment/CAPEX projects,
• Worked in setting up a factory from scratch or greenfield investment projects,
• Experienced in mechanical design, field application, and commissioning processes,
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, AHU, chiller, boiler, steam, compressed air, and water/water treatment systems,
• Experienced in the mechanical infrastructure of process equipment,
• Able to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and technical documents,
• Experienced in FAT/SAT and commissioning processes,
• Experienced in contractor and supplier management,
• Experienced in preparing technical specifications and preferably URS,
• Good command of technical English,
• Proficient in MS Office applications,
• Suitable for field work and taking an active role during intensive commissioning periods,
• Strong project tracking, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
