Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Embedded Linux Senior Software Engineer – Optimisation in Turkey. You will optimize Linux across kernel, system software and applications, delivering high-performance experiences on new hardware platforms.

You will collaborate with hardware partners, work across the full Linux stack, and contribute to open-source projects. Strong C/C++ skills and Linux expertise are required, with remote collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
Strong software development experience on Linux-based platforms.
Hands-on experience with Debian, RPM, or Yocto packaging.
Proficiency in C and C++ with understanding of open-source practices.

Responsibilities

Design and implement optimized Linux integrations across IoT, embedded, desktop, and server platforms.
Collaborate with hardware partners to deliver high-performance Linux experiences.
Lead technical engagements spanning cloud, edge, OS, and applications.
Assist customers with SDK adoption, device OS image creation, and application optimization.
Work across the full Linux stack from low-level components to middleware and GUIs.
