Job summary

Bonna Premium Porcelain in Pazaryeri, Turkey, seeks a Senior Learning & Development Specialist to manage end-to-end training for blue- and white-collar staff at our Pazaryeri production facility.

You will design and implement technical training programs, oversee OJT orientation, measure effectiveness, coordinate budgets, and build an in-house trainer pool with strong English and LMS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in L&D in manufacturing
• Experience building on-the-job orientation programs for new hires
• Hands-on experience delivering technical training (production processes, machinery, quality/OHS standards)
• Experience with blue-collar training processes
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of training needs analysis and training effectiveness measurement (Kirkpatrick model)
• MS Office; exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and measure the effectiveness of technical/operational training programs (production lines, machinery, quality standards, OHS)
• Build and manage on-the-job orientation programs, including buddy/mentor systems and shop-floor onboarding
• Design and deliver classroom onboarding with content for blue- and white-collar employees
• Conduct training needs analysis, build training calendars, and manage on-site implementation for blue-collar employees
• Plan training budgets, manage vendors/trainers, and report on training effectiveness
• Develop competency-based technical training modules and update the training catalog
• Track compliance with mandatory trainings (OHS, environment)
• Monitor post-training impact on performance and present findings to senior management
• Conduct on-site visits to identify technical and orientation training needs on the shop floor

Job description

At Bonna Premium Porcelain, we are looking for an experienced Senior Learning & Development Specialist who has previously built and implemented on-the-job orientation programs and has strong hands-on experience with technical training, to manage end-to-end training and development processes for both blue-collar and white-collar employees at our Pazaryeri production facility.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and measure the effectiveness of technical/operational training programs (production lines, machinery, quality standards, OHS, etc.)
• Build and manage on-the-job (OJT) orientation programs, including buddy/mentor systems, structured shop-floor onboarding, and readiness checkpoints for new hires
• Design and deliver classroom-based onboarding programs, with differentiated content for blue-collar and white-collar employees
• Conduct training needs analysis, build training calendars, and manage on-site implementation for blue-collar employees
• Plan training budgets, manage vendors/trainers, and report on training effectiveness
• Develop competency-based technical training modules and update the existing training catalog
• Track and ensure compliance with mandatory statutory trainings (OHS, environment, etc.)
• Monitor and report on the post-training impact on performance and present findings to senior management
• Conduct on-site visits to identify technical and orientation training needs directly on the shop floor

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of Learning & Development experience in the manufacturing sector
• Proven experience establishing and running on-the-job orientation programs for new employees
• Solid hands-on experience delivering technical training (production processes, machinery, quality/OHS standards)
• Proven track record working directly with blue-collar employee training processes
• Advanced English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of training needs analysis and training effectiveness measurement (e.g., Kirkpatrick model)
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
• Strong presentation, communication, and on-site facilitation skills
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Pazaryeri
• Being involved in training procurement processes aligned with organizational needs by liaising with third-party training companies on outputs derived from the training needs analysis
• Building and developing an in-house trainer pool, and managing the certification/competency processes of internal trainers
