Job summary

Çalık Enerji seeks an HSE Chief-Training for the Navoi-3 project in Uzbekistan. The candidate will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive HSE training program, align systems with international standards, and ensure competency across the project team and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include creating training materials, managing the training matrix, and evaluating effectiveness through on-site assessments and performance indicators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• Fluency in English.
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive HSE Training Program for project personnel and subcontractors.
• Establish and manage the Project HSE Training System aligned with project, client, and international standards.
• Prepare training materials, presentations, and awareness content.
• Develop and maintain an HSE Training Matrix ensuring competency definitions.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and site observations.

We are looking for a "HSE Chief-Training" to be assigned toour Navoi-3 project in Uzbekistan.

Qualifications;

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or relevant technical field preferred)
• Min 7 years of HSE experience in industrial construction projects
• Working knowledge ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 management systems
• Practical field experience in: Permit to work systems, Energy isolation (lockout/tagout), working at heights, lifting operations, excavation and confined space entry, commissioning and pre-commissioning safety support)
• Preferably, knowledge of Uzbekistan occupational health and safety regulations; ability to ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements on site and to coordinate effectively with relevant authorities
• Fluency in English
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification preferred
• Train the trainer certification preferred

Responsibilities;

• Develop and implement a comprehensive HSE Training Program to ensure all required trainings are delivered to project personnel, including subcontractors
• Establish and manage the Project HSE Training System, ensuring alignment with project, client, and international standards
• Prepare and maintain training materials, presentations, and awareness content in line with project risks and requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain an HSE Training Matrix, ensuring position-based competency requirements are clearly defined and applied
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, site observations, and performance indicators
