AVL Research and Engineering Türkiye seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, code and maintain enterprise desktop and web‑based engineering software for automotive applications. You will work with C#, .NET 8, Angular, Electron and cloud stacks, contributing to multi‑national projects and R&D efforts.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor in Electrical/Electronics/CS/Informatics with 4+ years of software development, fluent English, and a willingness to travel abroad to collaborate on

Job Description

Senior Full Stack Software Engineers develop advanced components and systems to be able to handle upcoming challenges of digitalization and autonomy in automotive. They focus on developing enterprise desktop and web-based engineering software and tools.

Description of daily responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Design, code, test, document and maintain software solutions
• Requirements engineering/management
• Involve in R&D activities

Profile Description

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Informatics, and preferably MSc and/or PhD qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English
• Fast learner; treats change as an opportunity to learn and develop
• Eager to learn state of the art technologies and techniques to come up with elegant solutions to the problems
• Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and proceed with objectives without supervision
• Willingness to frequent and long-term travel abroad
• Become a member of a team working on multi-national projects

And a solid understanding and hands-on experience in the following topics:

• Object Oriented Programming (using at least one of the following languages: C#, Java, Python)
• Strong .NET 8 / C# backend development with REST, authentication and microservices
• Angular (TypeScript, RxJS)
• Desktop application development with Electron and frontend-backend integration
• Cloud-native development with Docker, Kubernetes and Azure/AWS, including CI/CD pipelines
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite etc.) and data handling (modeling, performance optimization, large-scale/telemetry data)
• Distributed systems, event-driven architecture and scalable SaaS design patterns
• Git, Linux and basic monitoring/logging tools knowledge
