Job summary

AVL Research and Engineering Turkey seeks a qualified engineer to perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment, draft functional safety concepts and conduct safety analyses such as FMEA and FTA.

The role involves planning and coordinating functional safety activities in customer projects from specification to validation, and defining safety requirements. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Automotive / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Control Engineering, and preferably Master’s and/or PhD qualifications
• Minimum 1+ years of relevant professional experience
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English
• Fast learner, treats change as an opportunity to learn and develop
• Good communication, presentation and planning skills
• Willingness to frequent and long-term travel abroad

• ISO 26262, IEC 61508 and similar standards
