Job summary

AVL Türkiye Research and Engineering seeks Senior Software Engineers to develop advanced automotive software components and enterprise desktop and web tools. You will design, code, test and document solutions while engaging in requirements management and R&D activities.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or Informatics, with 4+ years of software development experience. Fluent English and willingness to travel abroad are essential.

Senior Software Engineers develop advanced components and systems to be able to handle upcoming challenges of digitalization and autonomy in automotive. They focus on developing enterprise desktop and web-based engineering software and tools.

Description of daily responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Design, code, test, document and maintain software solutions
• Requirements engineering/management
• Involve in R&D activities

Profile Description

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Informatics, and preferably MSc and/or PhD qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English
• Fast learner; treats change as an opportunity to learn and develop
• Eager to learn state of the art technologies and techniques to come up with elegant solutions to the problems
• Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and proceed with objectives without supervision
• Willingness to frequent and long-term travel abroad
• Become a member of a team working on multi-national projects

Solid hands-on experience and a strong understanding of the following technologies and tools:

• Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript
• Build & CI/CD Tools: Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub
• IDEs: IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse
