Job summary

Koçfinans is seeking a senior software engineer to drive AI-powered projects within a financial services context. You will integrate AI models, contribute to development, and support AI initiatives across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• MS/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in similar positions.
• Proficient with Java 8/17/21, Spring Boot and Restful APIs.
• Nice to have Python, React, and TypeScript experience.
• Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Experience with ELK stack, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with microservices and agile teams.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Integrate and adapt AI models into existing software systems
• Contribute as a developer to the development and delivery of AI solutions
• Play an active role throughout the entire lifecycle of AI projects (design, development, testing, deployment)
• Develop innovative solutions by following emerging AI technologies and trends
• Be actively involved in Agentic AI projects
• Take an active role in R&D projects by generating new ideas and building prototypes
• Tirelessly following and trying new developments in AI ecosystem
• Support as one the key stakeholder in business analysis phases

Qualifications

• MS/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or a similar field
• At least 5 year professional experience in similar positions
• Experience with Java 8/17/21
• Having experience in Spring Boot, Restful APIs
• Having knowledge and experience in Python is a plus
• Working experience in React and Typescript
• Understanding of DevOps culture, familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerization
• Experience in log monitoring and troubleshootingwith ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana)
• OO skills, including design patterns and SOLID knowledge
• Experience in both relational and non-relational database systems like Oracle, Mongo
• Knowing messaging systems like Kafka/Rabbit MQ
• Experience in micro services architecture
• Ability to work in agile teams and hand in hand with business product teams
• Robust problem analysis and solving skills
• Having good communication, good documentation, business development, and presentation skills
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude AI, or similar
