Job summary

FANUC, the world-leading factory automation company, is seeking a finance professional in Turkey to lead the monthly and year-end close, analyze P&L and balance sheet accounts, and drive ERP-related enhancements. The role requires IFRS expertise, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English.

You will coordinate cross-functional reporting, prepare management presentations, and collaborate with internal and external auditors while advancing process improvements and automation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Reporting, Audit, or Finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Local GAAP; IFRS expertise mandatory.
• Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance best practices.
• Experience with SAP or JD Edwards (JDE); ERP implementation experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP.
• Manage and analyze P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities, maintain the closing calendar, and ensure timely completion of reporting requirements.
• Prepare financial closing reports, schedules, management presentations, and variance analyses.
• Create and monitor closing journal entries and support transfer pricing reporting activities.
• Perform actual vs. budget analyses and provide valuable insights into business performance.
• Lead finance-related projects, system enhancements, and ERP integration initiatives.
• Act as the key contact for internal and external audit processes.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and data quality.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to support informed business decisions.
