Job summary

Hugent Hizmet ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti in Turkey is seeking a senior Finance Director to lead all finance and accounting operations for the local branch and coordinate with regional headquarters.

You will oversee IFRS reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and cross-border transactions, while developing the local finance team and ensuring regulatory conformity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 of those years in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and FOREX control.
• Experience in multinational companies or trading industries is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all finance and accounting operations for the Turkey branch, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
• Manage financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAP, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Ensure accurate tax filings and compliance with Turkish tax laws, including coordination with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process integrity.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights to branch management and regional headquarters.
• Supervise and develop the local finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
