Job summary

Hepsiburada is seeking a Category Manager to drive performance across categories within a leading Turkish e-commerce platform. You will partner with category and marketing teams to achieve KPIs, while building strong supplier alliances and managing stock and sales analysis.

Qualifications

• University degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering.
• At least +4 years experience in category management.
• Experience in e-commerce is required.
• Sales and purchasing experience is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to take ownership and grow with the role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with category and marketing teams to meet monthly/annual KPIs.
• Build strategic alliances with international brands and national suppliers.
• Manage supplier relations and daily stock analysis.
• Prepare and adjust weekly reports for performance tracking.
• Develop seasonal sales budgets and aim for gross profit targets.
• Analyze promotion effects on sales, value, and margins.
• Monitor actual sales vs. budget and report variances.
• Forecast future sales and determine order quantities from stock data.
• Improve seasonal buying budgets and create planning tools.

Our Requirements:

• University degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering,
• At least +4 years experience in category management,
• Have experience in e-commerce

• Good command of MS Office applications, particularly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

Your Responsibilities:

• Working with category, marketing teams to achieve/overachieve monthly/annual performance KPI's of dedicated category/ies,
• Building strong strategic alliances with leading international brands and national suppliers,
• Handling all supplier relations,
• Carrying out daily stock and sales analysis, monitoring and analyzing bestsellers,
• Prepares and adjusts weekly reports,
• Preparing seasonal sales budget for the related product group on a category basis and taking responsibility for gross profit targets,
• Analyzes and reports promotional activity effects on sales quantity, value, and margin,
• Follows up actual sales and margin results versus budget,
• Forecasting future sales and deciding on the amount of products' order units based on current stock sales data,
• Improves seasonal buying budget process and creates new planning tools to support budget process.
