What is the Main Aim of This Position?
To ensure that sales and merchandising teams across Turkey operate with the right number of staff, in the right locations, and with the right routes and frequency, thereby increasing field efficiency.
What We Expect From You?
- Conduct time-motion analyses for sales and merchandising teams to develop optimal workforce and headcount plans, and implement them in agreement with relevant managers,
- Implement and monitor the frequency and service model defined by RTM Strategy in the field,
- Conduct efficiency-enhancing optimizations by analyzing regional, route, and itinerary structures across Turkey; develop annual vehicle expansion plans; and implement them aligning with Sales Managers,
- Rebalance the distribution of Sales Representatives and Merchandisers based on region, potential, and workload,
- Improve travel time, number of visits, and field coverage through route optimization efforts,
- Develop actions to optimize vehicle requirements, utilization efficiency, and field costs,
- Improve route optimization, visit completion, and field discipline metrics by regularly monitoring them,
- Develop performance-enhancing actions by analyzing sales and merchandiser efficiency metrics,
- Establish standard operating models and implementation principles for field operations,
- Contribute to the improvement of the sales organization’s daily and weekly work schedules,
- Work closely with field teams and managers to integrate operational feedback into the model,
- Conduct planned pilot implementations to test and report on new field models,
- Identify opportunities for field efficiency and coverage through data-driven analysis,
- Support the field implementation of RTM projects by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Why You?
- If you hold a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related analytical field,
- If you have 4–6 years of FMCG experience, preferably in traditional trade and distributor-led structures,
- If you have experience in field sales, sales operations, or Route-to-Market (RTM) processes,
- If you have a strong understanding of sales force operations, coverage, and field productivity,
- If you can transform data into actionable insights and business recommendations,
- If you have advanced Excel skills and preferably experience with BI tools,
- If you have strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities,
- If you can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders,
