Job summary

Hyundai Motor Türkiye, located in İzmit, Türkiye, seeks an HSE Specialist to strengthen the Health, Safety & Environment function within Administration. You will investigate incidents, help prepare emergency plans, and lead safety training while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a engineering degree, 2+ years of field OHS experience, B or C class certification, fluent English, and MS Office proficiency; relocation to Kocaeli is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environment, Industry or related engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of field experience in Occupational Health & Safety.
• B or C class Occupational Safety Specialist certificate required.
• Fluent in English for global working environment.
• Excellent command of MS Office programs.
• Reside/Willing to reside in Kocaeli.

Responsibilities

• Investigate causes of occupational accidents and diseases and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in emergency plan preparation and monitor trainings and exercises.
• Plan, implement, or control occupational health and safety training and prepare annual evaluation reports and work plans.
• Basic knowledge about sprinkler and gas type firefighting systems.
• Investigate events with potential harm and report to management.

We are looking for a HSE Specialist to take part in Hyundai Motor Türkiye located in İzmit/Kocaeli;

Department: Health, Safety & Environment

We want you to:

• Investigate the causes of occupational accidents and occupational diseases in the workplace and work on the measures to be taken in order not to repeat them
• Participate in the preparation of emergency plans at the workplace to monitor and control the periodical trainings and exercises on this subject and to monitor the emergency plan
• Plan, implement or control the occupational health and safety training of employees in accordance with the relevant legislation. To prepare the annual evaluation report and annual work plans
• Basic knowledge about sprinkler and gas type firefighting systems
• Investigating the causes of events that have the potential to cause harm to the employee, equipment or workplace and report to the management

You will also need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environment, Industry or related engineering departments
• Minimum 2 years of field experience in Occupational Health & Safety
• Having B or C class Occupational Safety Specialist certificate
• Fluent in English for global working environment
• Excellent command of MS Office programs
• Reside/Willing to reside in Kocaeli
