Job summary
Sii is seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Designer to join a team delivering substations and GIS/AIS switchgear projects for energy sector clients. You will prepare technical documentation, design medium- and high-voltage installations, and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with RUPLAN (and Engineering Base) is required, and you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while producing compliant documentation and drawings in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with RUPLAN and/or Engineering Base software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power engineering documentation and schematics.
- Good command of English or German for technical communication.
- Experience with switchgear system design is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design GIS/AIS switchgear systems and HV substations.
- Prepare electrical schematics and technical documentation using RUPLAN.
- Coordinate engineering activities from bidding to delivery of project documentation.
- Maintain project documentation per standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery.
