Job summary

ORION EE is seeking a Product Systems Engineer – MV/LV Electrical Systems to join our growing R&D team in Turkey. You will translate customer, market, and application needs into clear technical requirements and serve as a technical bridge between R&D, Sales, and customers.

Responsibilities include defining and maintaining product specifications, supporting portfolio decisions, providing technical sales support, and preparing datasheets, user manuals, and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical systems, product engineering, or R&D preferred.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and datasheets.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer, market, and application needs into clear technical product requirements.
• Define and maintain product specifications, features, interfaces, and acceptance criteria.
• Support product portfolio, product configuration, and product variant decisions.
• Provide technical support to Sales for product selection and inquiries.
• Prepare and maintain datasheets, user manuals, Modbus/communication manuals, connection diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with hardware, embedded software, mechanical, and test teams during development, improvement, and revision activities.
• Support product verification, validation, revisions, and lifecycle activities.
• Perform technical competitor and benchmark analyses to support product and portfolio decisions.

Product Systems Engineer – MV/LV Electrical Systems

who will be responsible for supporting the development and continuous improvement of ORION EE’s products by translating customer, market, and application needs into clear technical requirements, while acting as a technical bridge between R&D, Sales, and customers.

Main responsibilities:

• Translating customer, market, and application needs into clear technical product requirements.
• Defining and maintaining product specifications, features, interfaces, and acceptance criteria.
• Supporting product portfolio, product configuration, and product variant decisions.
• Providing technical support to the Sales team for product selection, application evaluation, customer inquiries, and technical discussions.
• Preparing and maintaining datasheets, user manuals, Modbus / communication manuals, connection diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Coordinating with hardware, embedded software, mechanical, and test teams during product development, improvement, and revision activities.
• Supporting product verification, validation, revisions, and lifecycle activities.
• Performing technical competitor and benchmark analyses to support product and portfolio decisions.
• Monitoring developments in MV/LV electrical distribution, protection, monitoring, communication technologies, and relevant standards.
• Providing internal product training and contributing to product knowledge development across R&D, Sales, and related teams.

Required skills / qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in electrical systems, product engineering, application engineering, R&D, power systems, or a similar technical environment is preferred.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical documents, electrical schematics, datasheets, and communication interfaces.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and commercial teams.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and motivation to continuously develop technical and product knowledge.
• Ability to effectively use modern digital and AI-based tools for research, technical analysis, documentation, and continuous learning.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You will be a perfect match if you have:

• Knowledge or experience in MV/LV distribution systems, switchgear, protection, measurement, or monitoring products.
• Familiarity with Modbus / RS-485, SCADA, embedded systems, or relevant IEC standards.
• Experience in product development, application engineering, testing, commissioning, technical sales support, or similar technical areas.
• Interest in understanding how technical products work, how customers use them, and how they can be improved.
• Experience in technical competitor analysis, product benchmarking, or product portfolio studies.
