Job summary

SPIE Turbomachinery is seeking a Spare Parts Project Engineer to develop and implement a comprehensive Project Spares Strategy, covering systems and packages, while reviewing CMMS, P&ID, PFD, and spare parts lists for informed recommendations.

You will oversee accurate parts identification, manage inventory, and lead supplier evaluations. The role includes mentoring Spare Parts Engineers in a multicultural, technically focused environment with international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years in spare parts management/services.
• Proficiency in CMIMS systems for parts management and data analysis.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Turkish nationality or speaking people is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Project Spares Strategy covering systems and packages.
• Review CMMS, P&ID, PFD, and Spare Parts Lists to provide recommendations.
• Lead inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce obsolescence.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, negotiation, and performance management of spare parts suppliers.
• Mentor and develop Spare Parts Engineers and Technicians; coordinate cross-functional teams.
