Job summary

SPIE Turbomachinery is seeking a facilities and logistics lead to design and optimize warehouse and workshop spaces across Türkiye. You will implement inventory controls, calibration schedules, and robust data capture in CMMS/ERP systems to ensure 100% accuracy between physical stock and records.

You will coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, and maintenance planners, ensuring compliance with HSE standards while supporting international project needs and expatriate assignments as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, or Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/workshop operations within petrochemical or refinery environments.
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse/workshop design, setup, or project-based roles.
• Strong knowledge of storage/logistics tools and fabrication tools.
• Proficiency in CMIMS systems for parts management and data analysis.
• Ensure 100% accuracy between physical inventory and digital records through full spare part codification in SAP.
• Proven experience in managing and tracking inventory to ensure availability.
• Turkish nationality or speaking people is a strong plus.
• Strong ability to work in a multi-cultural and multidisciplinary environment.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review warehouse design and layout including zones, access, and storage systems.
• Define storage requirements for climate control, shelving, and hazardous materials.
• Implement FIFO/LIFO, labeling, and barcode tracking as needed.
• Ensure 100% data accuracy between physical stock and CMMS/ERP records.
• Develop and manage inventory control processes (reorder levels, cycle counts).
• Maintain a centralized tool crib and track calibration schedules for tools.
• Establish procedures for incoming goods inspection and conformity checks with POs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and traceability for safety stock and regulated materials.
• Review workshop design and equipment layout; define requirements and space.
• Ensure workshop operations comply with permits to work and hot work procedures.
