Job summary

Maersk, a global leader in logistics, seeks a People Partner in Istanbul to guide leaders through transformation, coach teams, and ensure HR policy compliance while delivering services locally.

You will work closely with stakeholders to drive business outcomes, manage HR processes, and support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development with a strong focus on inclusivity and local labor law adherence.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience as an HR generalist.
• Advanced knowledge of local labor law.
• Experience from large-scale international organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Leaders to execute the people strategy and HR objectives.
• Advise on people-related matters, policies and employee relations.
• Lead local delivery of key HR processes: performance management, compensation, succession and talent development.
• Collaborate with HR teams to ensure effective HR service delivery.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and policies.
• Leverage data to identify trends and support informed decisions.
• Foster talent development and internal mobility opportunities.
• Partner with EEO and other teams on complex employee cases and inclusion.
• Design and deliver training sessions and people initiatives for leaders and staff.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and on-site lifecycle activities as required.
