We are looking for an experienced Regional Method Engineering Manager to lead the development, standardization and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods and processes across our regional manufacturing sites.
The role will play a key part in industrialization, NPI, project transfers, operational excellence and automation, supporting scalable and standardized manufacturing solutions across the region.
As part of this role, you will be expected to be based at our Sivas manufacturing facility for one year.

Murat Ticaret was acquired by Volex in 2023 and is a leading producer of wiring harnesses and battery cables designed for off-highway and specialist vehicles. Murat Ticaret currently employs around 4,000 people across its multiple manufacturing locations in Türkiye.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, standardization and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods and processes across regional manufacturing sites.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) cable harness production.
- Define manufacturing concepts, process flows, equipment requirements, tooling and process parameters.
- Develop standardized work instructions, SOPs and manufacturing standards.
- Ensure manufacturing processes are scalable, efficient and transferable across production locations.
- Lead manufacturing engineering activities throughout the APQP and NPI process.
- Ensure manufacturing feasibility and technical readiness for new product launches.
- Lead process trials, pilot builds and production ramp-up activities.
- Ensure robust and repeatable processes are established before production launch or transfer.
- Drive improvements in OEE, productivity, cycle time and manufacturing efficiency.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and lead automation and digitalization opportunities.
- Promote standardization and the implementation of best practices across manufacturing locations.
- Lead the manufacturing engineering aspects of project transfers between production locations.
- Ensure the effective transfer of manufacturing processes, technical documentation and standards.
- Collaborate closely with global engineering, operations, quality and project teams.
- Establish common manufacturing engineering standards and methodologies across the region.
- Lead and develop regional method engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional engineering teams.
- Support capability development, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Method Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrialization or Process Engineering.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing and/or cable harness production is preferred.
- Experience in a Tier 1 automotive environment is an advantage.
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience in manufacturing process development and industrialization.
- Experience in automation, process optimization and production efficiency improvement.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and international environment.
- Fluent English and Turkish are required.
